Data Analyst
Altrincham | Hybrid
£50,000 - £60,000
This is not a "sit quietly and build spreadsheets" kind of Data Analyst role.
You'll be joining a PE-backed business on a serious growth curve, working alongside an experienced, high-calibre leadership team who actually use data to make decisions. They're building fast, scaling smart, and want people who are hungry to grow with them.
As the Data Analyst, you'll sit right at the centre of the action - turning complex data into crystal-clear insights that shape strategy, unlock growth, and keep the whole business moving forward. If you've worked in consulting or professional services, you'll feel right at home: multiple stakeholders, fast decisions, and data that genuinely matters.
You'll report into the Growth Operations Manager, within the Office of the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) - meaning visibility, influence, and a front-row seat to strategic decision-making.
What you'll actually be doing
Cross-Sell & Growth Analytics
You'll help the business spot where growth is hiding - and then prove it with data.
Identify cross-sell opportunities across Practices by uncovering complementary client relationships
Track cross-sell initiatives and show senior leaders what's working (and what's not)
Reveal "white space" within existing accounts - new buyers, regions, assets, therapeutic areas
Partner closely with the Growth Office to keep opportunities visible and momentum high
KPI Tracking & Performance Reporting
You'll build dashboards people actually want to look at.
Create real-time views of pipeline health, conversion rates, win/loss metrics and forecasts
Track pre-sales performance: outreach, proposals, conversion, time-to-close
Work with Marketing to connect campaigns and conferences to real revenue
Measure the effectiveness of the Proposal Hub - capacity, quality, win rates
Strategic Analysis & Executive Insight
This is where your consulting mindset really shines.
Support strategic planning with scenario modelling and forward-looking analysis
Produce sharp, executive-ready insights for the CGO and senior leadership
Turn messy data into clear stories about risks, trends and opportunities
What we're looking for
You don't need to tick every box - but this will sound familiar if you've come from consulting or professional services:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or similar (advanced qualifications a bonus)
3-5 years' experience in commercial analytics, financial analysis or business operations
Strong financial modelling, KPI tracking and pipeline analysis skills
Confident with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
Advanced Excel skills and a sharp eye for detail
Clear, confident communicator who can turn numbers into narratives
Comfortable in a fast-paced, matrixed environment - proactive, curious and takes ownership
If you love data, thrive in consulting-style environments, and want your work to actually influence decisions, this one's worth a look.
