Job Title: Senior Commercial Finance Manager
Location: Fully Remote (with 1-2 days travel per month to various sites across the UK)
Temporary to Permanent
£80,000 - £85,000

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join one of our market leading clients. This pivotal role will involve overseeing key financial operations, including managing working capital, stock holding, and rebates receivable balances. You will work closely with the Category Management Team, Commercial Team, and Branch Operations Network to optimize financial performance across the business.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive finance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for commercial finance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Category Management: Monitor and challenge category performance, providing analysis and insights for weekly trading meetings.
• Commercial Income: Ensure supplier rebates and other commercial income are accurately reflected in the Profit & Loss (P&L), with regular reviews of the rebate debtor to maximize working capital.
• Inventory Management: Support the business in optimizing working capital by assisting Operations in managing stock levels at branches.
• Team Leadership: Line management of 3 commercial analysts, overseeing their work on inventory, commercial income, and category management.
• Ad-Hoc Finance Support: Provide finance support to the Group Commercial and Group Procurement Directors and their teams on various projects and initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:
- Deep understanding of commercial finance, financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
-Proven experience in line management and the ability to build strong relationships across different teams.
-Recognized finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong commercial finance experience, particularly in inventory and working capital management.
• Experience in financial modelling, analysis, and forecasting.
• Proven line management experience.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across different teams.
